Account

Delete your Gritup account.

You can permanently delete your account and your training data at any time. This is final. Once we delete it, we cannot restore it.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and Sign in with Apple link.
  • Your training plan, weeks, workouts, and execution history.
  • Your plan onboarding inputs (sports, level, goals, race date).
  • Your profile settings stored on our backend.

What we keep, and why

  • A minimum set of billing and transaction records required by tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention laws. These are kept in access-restricted systems and used only for those purposes.
  • Backups may retain copies of deleted data for a short period before they are rotated out (typically up to thirty days).

Before you delete: cancel your subscription

Subscriptions are billed through Apple. Deleting your Gritup account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it first:

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the top right.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Gritup and then Cancel Subscription.

You can also visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions from any browser logged into your Apple ID.

How to delete your account

Send an email to support@gritup.fit from the email address linked to your Gritup account, with the subject line "Delete my Gritup account". You don't need to write anything else. That's enough for us to find and remove your account.

If your Apple ID is private-relay (an @privaterelay.appleid.com address), include the first name you shared with Gritup through Sign in with Apple and any race date you used in onboarding so we can confirm it's you before deleting.

What happens next

  1. We reply within one business day to confirm the request and the address it came from.
  2. We permanently delete your data from our active systems within seven days of confirmation.
  3. Residual backups are rotated out within thirty days.
